10. Standing knowledge agents#

Workforce → Standing agents — a standing agent watches sources you can already see against a focus prompt you set, and automatically evaluates newly-synced documents from those sources every time they sync.

Opt-in at two levels, off by default:

  1. An admin first enables standing agents for the workspace (Workforce → Standing knowledge agents toggle). Until this is on, no standing agent runs for anyone, no matter what's configured.
  2. Once enabled, each member creates their own agent(s): a focus (e.g. "track our pricing changes and competitor moves"), which sources to watch (only sources you can already see), a cadence (hourly / daily / weekly), and a target.

Target — where matches land:

  • Review queue (default): matches are drafted into the Review tab like a curated document — a human reviews before anything becomes authoritative.
  • Authored (shared): requires a "Read + author" token (§9). Matches land directly as shared, authoritative concepts, cited to you and the agent — no review hop. If your author token is ever revoked, the agent doesn't fail: it's re-checked on every run and falls back to a review-queue draft instead.

Each agent only ever scores documents from sources you're allowed to watch, is capped per run and per day (so it can't flood the queue or your bill), and only lands a match that scores above a relevance floor. Anything a standing agent lands — draft or authored — carries a "from your standing agent" pill on the Review tab, and the Review tab's filter row lets you filter to just one agent's captures.
